Downloadable classroom resources for students aged 14-18 (although there are materials available from Tomorrow’s Engineers for younger students) The website also has information that teachers might find useful including what chemical engineering is, what chemical engineers do and case studies. These resources are useful for meeting the recommendations of the Gatsby Careers reports and providing students with real STEM careers information

If you were an engineer, what would you do?®

This free competition is open to children and students between the ages of 3 and 19 with awards presented to entries from each year group. All entries are graded by engineers with winning and shortlisted pupil designs displayed at public exhibitions up and down the country. All the pupils need to do is answer the question, “If you were an engineer, what would you do®?”, they will need to interview engineers about what it means to be an engineer, find a problem, invent a solution, draw it, explain it…
